They decided that a puppy would lift their spirits, and that’s how they adopted a dog named Cocoa.
Cocoa belongs to the variety known as Shih Tzu.
Cocoa came into their lives as an elderly dog, very calm and loving. When Michele’s husband died in the battle against cancer, the cute little dog did not leave his owner.
He understood that she was upset and didn’t stop kissing her, a few years later Cocoa also lost her life and poor Michelle was completely heartbroken . She felt very lonely and thought she would not be able to move forward.
Mickey said: “As the months went by, the house and my heart felt very empty.
A few months later, she decided to open her heart to a new pet . He started looking at pictures on the pages of shelters and came across a very special dog, a little girl with a disfigured face.
Minnie lives at the Maricopa County shelter.
It is not known if it was due to a congenital health problem or if the poor animal was injured in a dogfight . What is clear is that he needs to have a family as soon as possible, otherwise he will have the worst luck.
“His nose is below his right eye. Mickey explained : The top of his jaw isn’t in the middle, so his bite doesn’t close.
This beautiful dog has been rejected by many families again and again just because it looks different. However, Mickey knows that the furry girl has a lot of affection to give and it doesn’t take long for him to form a wonderful bond with her.
He went to meet her with her daughter and it immediately seemed like they had known each other for a long time .
“They told me they had never seen her so happy. At that point, I knew he was already a part of our family ,” Mickey celebrates.
They decided to call her Minnie, now she is a very happy dog. It piqued the curiosity of people on the street, but Mickey was as cheerful as ever.
Minnie saved her from a broken heart, that’s the magic of puppies. They always find a way to make us happy.
All dogs deserve a chance. Many people rejected Minnie because of her circumstances, but now her story is proof of what unconditional love should be like. Repost!
